Kartika Masa Somavaram Rituals & Akhanda Jyoti Deepotsavam
Kartika Masam is regarded as the holiest month for worshipping Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. During Kartika Somavaram (Mondays), Sri Shivalayam transforms into a glowing realm of light with thousands of traditional earthen oil lamps lit in Akhanda Deepotsavam.
